The Mission Office Staff, the best!!!

There are quite a few individuals who work or  volunteer in the Mission Office.

The Senior Couples (Farmers-Family History, Stewarts-Mission Doctor, Gardners-English and Welfare, Nays-DIC, Englands-ERC, and Linfords-YSA) were the ones who volunteered during the last few months that we were there.  Farmers and Stewarts left in April, so there are only three couples left in the office in UB: Nays, Englands, and Linfords.  They have an unbelievable load to carry until other senior couples arrive.

However, there are several people who have been hired to keep the office working.  All of these people are  very important to the smooth running of the office.  They are really great people and really make the office run smoothly.  These are all on the 4th floor of the Bayanzurkh Building.

This is Enkhjiguur (or who we call Jay).  Jiguur is the best!!  He is the Office Secretary, and he does a great deal of translation.  He accompanied us to Khovd in February 2014, where he did a lot of translation and helped us get around in the city.   He is always good for cookies or a cake or anything that is good to eat.  He usually brings his lunch every day, but he is so hungry that he eats that before 11am, so he needs to go buy lunch somewhere.  Jiguur served his mission in the Hawaii Honolulu Mission (Jiguur affectionately refers to his mission as the Aloha Mission.

Every mission office has two Assistants to the President.  This is Elder Ganbaatar and Elder Osorjamma, who were the Assistants when we left in March, 2014.  They were the first who were both Mongolians.  Previously, it was usually one American and one Mongolian.  We have usually gotten fairly close to the Assistants.

This is Batbold, who has been in the office for many years.  He is responsible for mission vehicles, missionary apartments, and much more.  Batbold is the rock that holds the office together.

This is Khongorzul, the Mission Financial Secretary.  She is very helpful and in addition, she made 2014 calendars for the senior couples with photos on them.  Khongorzul is a real sweetheart and she keeps the finances under control.

In addition to the Mission Office staff, we have the Service Center staff on the 3rd floor.  We work quite closely with them also.
