We had the opportunity to get some breakfast and some sleep in the airport, then we were able to take a shower there also. The Inchon Airport is a very nice airport, almost like a fancy mall.
Here is Nancy having a nice breakfast in the Inchon airport, during our long layover there. |
Below are Korean dancers who performed during the lunch hour at the Inchon airport:

Our next flight, the longest leg, left around 3pm local time and arrived in LA at about 10am LA time. We decided to purchase at our own expense upgrades to Business Class on this leg of our journey, and it turned out to be the right thing to do. With Nancy's knees hurting and the fact of the long flight (about 11 hours), we were at least able to rest and have some good meals. Even though it was a Delta flight, the flight was serviced by Korean Air. That made a big difference.
After arriving in LA, we had to go through customs and immigration. Then we had to walk to the Delta domestic terminal and go through security there. Then we had to wait several hours for our last flight to Salt Lake City.
Then after traveling for almost 36 hours, we finally arrived in Salt Lake City at about 7pm local time on April 1st. There we were met by Joi and her family and Paul and his family.
We really looked the worse for wear as the photos below show:
