Zunkhaara -- March 23rd 2014

One of the few places in Mongolia that has a branch that we had not been was Zunkhaara.  It is a little bit out of the way and a little difficult to get to, but today (March 23, 2014) we had the opportunity to travel there.  After driving most of the way to Darkhan, you get off the main road and travel on a dirt road for about 30 to 40 kilometers to a small town.

We arrived near the end of Sacrament Meeting and a young woman had just opened her mission call letter.  She was excited to be going to the Mongolia Ulaanbaatar Mission.

During the second hour David gave training on Welfare and Fast Offering principles to all of the members.  Like most branches and wards in Mongolia, most of the members are young women.

This is the young woman who read her mission call today.  She is holding the papers in her hands.

On the right is Elder Tulga, who was made one of the Assistants on  the next day.  He is one of the best English students among all of the Mongolian missionaries.

The next two photos are young Primary children in a class after church.  I think that they are studying English.

Here are many of the Branch members walking home after Church.

This is the mission vehicle that I drove to Zunkhaara.

Traveling back to UB, we passed some animals crossing the road.  Cows, horses, etc...
