Saruul and Altai and the four peaceful animals ... March 27th 2014

Nancy and I have had a very nice relationship with Saruul and Altai for the past year.  David has been tutoring Saruul with English skills in the Bayanzurkh Building, mostly from July, 2013 to January, 2014.  In January, Saruul got a new job and was unable to continue her tutoring classes.  One of the main things that David focused on in the tutoring classes was helping her to develop her CV and her interviewing skills.

In August, 2013, Nancy and David went with their family to their summer home about 20 km. from the Bayanzurkh Building and spent a delightful afternoon visiting with the family.

On March 27th, 2014, we went to dinner with Saruul and Altai in one of our favorite restaurants (Indian food).  They gave us a statue of the 4 peaceful animals (elephant, monkey, rabbit and dove).

Here are photos of the statue before we left Mongolia:

Here we are outside the Indian restaurant on March 27, 2014:

We hand-carried it home with us on the plane and we made it successfully home with us.  Here is are the four peaceful animals at our Cedar Hills home after we arrived home:
